About Gareth

Gareth began his career in sales, progressing into commercial leadership roles with the likes of Mars, Colorgraphic plc and IMS (now IQVIA), which led to business leadership roles with Cegedim, Informa plc and Wilmington plc, where he gained extensive experience in driving transformational change within data, technology, and publishing businesses. He is a commercially focused business leader with proven success in start-ups, turnaround situations and bringing new solutions to market, consistently delivering double digit growth of both top and bottom lines. He also has experience of leading and implementing several successful mergers and acquisitions.

A strong analytical capability allows Gareth to accurately and quickly assess situations and develop deliverable programmes to improve performance. Thriving on responsibility, he possesses an incisive decision-making capability and the confidence to create a positive impact. Loves to make things happen – not just talk about it!

Gareth believes in developing people to maximise their potential through coaching and mentoring, combined with measurement of outcomes to drive individual and team success. He has successfully operated in venture capital funded scale up businesses as well as in large multinational corporations developing a deep understanding of effective business processes focused on data, analytics and SaaS markets. He also set up and ran his own sales development and direct marketing services businesses.

Gareth is a rugby nut having played and coached for over 40 years and was the founding Chairman of Alresford Rugby. Music also plays a huge part in his life, playing keyboards and drums and he is also a keen leisure-time chef. Gareth is married with four adult children and lives in central London.
