Prabhakar Rajagopal

About Prabhakar

With nearly 30 years in the IT and Telecom industry, Prabhakar draws on his vast experience driving growth, innovation and profitability across a range of competitive markets in Asia Pacific, the Middle East and more recently Europe.  

With a natural affinity for technology-enabled business outcomes, Prabhakar has a learner’s mindset and out-of-the-box thinking.  He brings a unique perspective, having lived and workedacross the globe, before recently settling in England.  Prabhakar leads from the front bridging diverse cultures and practices to enable inclusive and active leadership.  

Most recently as the International VP of Software and Services at Motorola Solutions, Prabhakar led the field strategy and operations of mission-critical services and software solutions. He was instrumental in creating and leading software and AI-enabled digital adoption for public and private sectors with successful global firsts.

From  his early days in his home town of Chennai, India, Prabhakar demonstrated his entrepreneur skills;  from starting a tech company to successfully pioneering India’s first offshore service management.  His career spans business development, sales, strategic partnerships and operations from pre-sales through to programme and managed service delivery.

Prabhakar holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics and Communications) from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, India.  He has completed Imperial College Business School’s Sustainability Leadership Programme.

Outside his work and family, Prabhakar has a variety of interests, from sports, nature walks, reading, and painting – he also sees himself as a bit of an amateur physicist!
