Before transitioning to consulting, Sumeet held the position of Vice President of Hospitality at Essel Group, a diversified conglomerate with interests spanning media, entertainment, infrastructure, and education. He has a proven track record of managing and growing hotel businesses across the Caribbean, USA, Middle East, Africa, and India, having worked with renowned brands such as The Ritz-Carlton, Jumeirah, Araiya, and Hotel English Point.

His expertise includes pre- and post-opening hotel operations, feasibility studies, valuations, business turnarounds, and strategic planning. Sumeet is also an experienced trainer and coach, helping leaders and teams achieve sustainable growth. He has completed professional courses from Harvard, Cornell, and INSEAD and holds certifications in leadership, digital marketing, and hotel market analysis.
